We didn't really move; we just improved.
We've recently settled into a new space in the same building. This shift to a new production area has given usa the chance to refine and upgrade our services, and we can't wait to show off a bit for any visitors. This move also gives the Worthington Resource Pantry - a crucial partner in our community since 2009 - more room to grow as they prepare to take over our old production area.
The one impact to housekeeping is a new official address for Franklin Imaging: 502 Shrock Rd., instead of our old address number of 500. But no worries: if you mail anything or come to the old doors, it's just steps to our new entry.
Here are some FAQs
Is the new space just as big?
No, but it won't hold us back. In fact, the move has made it possible for us to thoughtfully consider how we manage projects and add upgrades to improve efficiencies, add flexibility and maximize print quality. What is the new space like?
There's nothing here that keeps you from the action. In fact, we've decided to place our flatbed and wallpaper printers right up front-and-center. Color accuracy is important too, so our new space has lighting with a higher color rating index, and because we aim to be a resource to the design community, we have clean, bright collaborative spaces as well. Our new digs even include a large wood shop, dedicated paint booth and a huge warehouse bay dedicated to CNC routing. We're still settling in, but we're already enjoying the change!
Why did Franklin Imaging want to make this move?
We learned last year that our neighbor, the Worthington Resource Pantry, had outgrown their space and needed to move. Worried that they might need to leave Worthington to find a larger space within their budget, we reached out to see if we could help. We have long admired Worthington Resource Pantry's work in our community, and we believe that we can play a role in ensuring that the Pantry continues to operate in our community for many years to come.
Fun fact: the inspiration for our production shop floors was a Giant Eagle, so we find it fitting that the WRP grocery store will soon be in that space.
Why is Worthington Resource Pantry interested in moving?
We think they explain it best...Bigger space. Bigger opportunities. Bigger Impact. Read more in their own words at worthingtonrescurcepantry.org/onthemove.
Can I come see the new area?
Absolutely; we look forward to seeing you and showing you around!
